Executive Director - Adam Thorvaldson

Adam joined the staff in January of 2006 as a Program Coordinator and later in September 2007 Adam became the Executive Director of Skills Canada BC.

Adam graduated from UBC with a degree in Teaching Technologies and holds a ticket in Sheet Metal.

Communication Coordinator - Vincent Chou

Vincent joined Skills Canada BC in September 2004. Vincent is responsible for the marketing, communication, and event coordination aspects of Skills Canada BC.

He graduated from SFU with a Bachelors in Communication and a minor in Publishing.

Program Coordinator - Bill Yang

Bill joined Skills Canada BC in January of 2008. Bill is responsible for all aspects of Skills Canada BC’s IT needs.

He graduated from BCIT in 2007 as a Software Systems Developer. Bill also has a Bachelors in Engineering Science from Shanghai University.

Accountant – Omar Saidi

Omar joined Skills Canada BC in April 2008. Omar is responsible for all the administrative and accounting needs for Skills Canada BC.

Omar graduated from UBC with a Bachelors in Commerce in 2006.
